Pittsburgh, PA, January 1, 2014 -

As we reflect on 2013, we have some important accomplishments to share with you.

February, 2013:   At the IAOP Summit, Hinduja Global Services (HGS) shared a session with Jeff Perdue about
"The Next Level of Business Excellence" to highlight accomplishments and the impact of HGS's three-continent certification (in India, the Philippines, and the United States) at Capability Level 4 of eSCM-SP for BPO services.

May:  ITSqc authorized Intelligent Training de Colombia as a new Authorized Organization for Latin American countries - this is an outgrowth of the the project with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and
PROEXPORT Colombia that we reported on last year. These professionals will be offering eSCM training in 2014 in conjunction with ANDI and will be able to provide courses at an affordable level for small and mid-sized providers due to a loan that the Colombian government received from IDB. Training in Spanish and the planned release of the eSCM-SP model book in Spanish will help to foster adoption of the eSCMs in Colombia and throughout Central and South America.

August:   Another Authorized Organization was authorized by ITSqc -- Global Colombia Certificación (GCC) will offer Capability Determination services for the Andean Region. Details about both of these organizations may be seen on the ITSqc website.

September:   ANDI and ITSqc formalized a strategic alliance to leverage the capabilities of both organizations to promote and foster sourcing excellence in Colombia and the Andean region.

October:   The BP Division of Allianz Cornhill Information Services, was certified at eSCM-SP Capability Level 4 in their Trivandrum, Kerala, India location. This certification covers IT Applications, IT Operations, Business Processes, and Corporate function services.

November:   Outsourcing Professional's Guide to Corporate Responsibility, co-authored by Dr. Bill Hefley and Dr. Ron Babin, Ryerson University, Canada, was released by Van Haren Publishing.  This book grew out of the efforts of the IAOP CSR Committee.

December:   Jane Siegel was a panel member at the IAOP LATAM Summit in San Jose, Costa Rica, moderated by Kirk Laughlin of Nearshore Americas speaking about evolving issues in Latin American outsourcing.
